Homemade Playdough

We'll be making homemade playdough this week. Luci's really into it, but I hate the fake stuff. I figure if she's gonna make a mess on my carpet, the homemade stuff might be easier to clean...am I kidding myself?

It's cheap, non-toxic and lasts forever. Why don't you join us?

Ingredients:
3 cups flour, sifted
1 1/2 cup salt
6 tsps cream of tartar
3 1/4 cup water
3 tbsps oil
food coloring

Whisk all the dry ingredients together in a large pot until no lumps remain. Stir in the wet ingredients (except for the food coloring) and mix until there are no lumps. Cook on high for 3-4 minutes until a dough forms. Store in airtight containers.
