Today was Lu's first day of camp. Her first experience of being dropped off for an extended stay all by herself...I hugged her and took her picture, she looked at me like I was wasting her time, ran to the playground and never looked back. Good for her!
A mom friend of mine called me to tell me that while she was dropping her daughter off, while all of the other kids were crying and holding on to their parents (hers included), Lu just played on the jungle gym, happy as a clam.
