Yesterday, we spent some time with a couple of our favorite boy-friends. And as boys typically do, they had some really cool boy-type toys that Lulu loved. She played dinosaurs, cars and best of all, they had a slip'n'slide in the backyard! It was fun to watch them as they played; while Lulu took everything in and played really cautiously, the boys just tore into everything. They had no fear running across the slip'n'slide while Lulu stood on the side trying to figure out how she could run on the mat without getting her hair wet from the water spray. Typical girl!
Since we've had record heat, I enjoyed sitting on the wet grass getting sprayed with water whenever the boys ran by. Then shamelessly went out to lunch with soggy shorts! I love being a mom...
